Adam Fiedler und seine Familie sind zur „Über-drüber-Bar-Mizwah-Party“ der Steins eingeladen. Das Motto „Titanic” wird dort üppigst zelebriert. Da Benjamin, der Sohn der Familie Fiedler, auch bald diese Feier begehen wird, soll diese auf Wunsch der Eltern noch viel sensationeller werden. Besonders Vater Adam möchte seinem Konkurrenten Stein eins auswischen. Doch Benjamin ist nicht sehr überzeugt davon. Hilfe und Verständnis findet er bei seinem Hippie-Großvater Irwin.

Taking the excess of a glitzy bar mitzvah as a personal challenge, agent Adam Fiedler decides to throw a much bigger bar mitzvah party for his son Benjamin.
